Documentarista, filmmaker e regista, danzatrice, coreografa e performer: i due diversi background e i molteplici linguaggi, l’ecletticità e l’esperienza di attivismo e indagine poetica sono continuamente mescolati nelle loro produzioni.
Cominciano la loro collaborazione nel 2015, durante la residenza artistica a San Francisco, presso Djerassi Program: lavorano ai progetti Dis-connection e Licheni e all’ideazione di Pornopoetica, una riscrittura della pornografia, un’indagine sugli immaginari legati alla sessualità. Il progetto prende avvio grazie al sostegno dell’Associazione dello Scompiglio, con cui realizzano la prima performance Pornopoetica. Lo stesso anno realizzano l’opera Diario blu(E) sul tema dell’identità e del genere, che viene presentata nella versione filmica, tra gli altri, al Torino Film Festival 2016, Festival Filmmaker 2016 e Visions du réel 2017 e nella versione installativa a Pergine Spettacolo Aperto 2017.
Dal 2018 si dedicano principalmente alla ricerca Pleasure rocks collaborando con l’artista visiva Alessia Bernardini. Realizzano insieme due pubblicazioni d’artista, una mostra fotografica, un workshop e un’installazione performativa che presentano, come da natura del progetto, in spazi culturali e festival molto diversi tra loro.
Dal 2022 sono artiste associate di Nexus Factory.

Ultimabaret is the metamorphosis of the artistic duo Titta C. Raccagni e Barbara Stimoli
Filmmaker video artist and director, dancer, choreographer and performer: the two different backgrounds and multiple languages, the eclecticism and the experience of activism and political investigation are mixed in their productions. In 2015, during the artistic residency at Djerassi Program in San Francisco, they worked on Dis-connection and Lychens projects and conceived Pornopoetica research, a rewriting of pornography, an investigation into sexual imaginaries. At the end of the same year, thanks to the production of Associazione Culturale Dello Scompiglio, they realized the work Diario blu(E) on identity and gender topics, which was presented as animated movie at Torino Film Festival 2016, Filmmaker 2016, Visions du réel 2017 and many others film festival and as immersive installation at Pergine Spettacolo Aperto 2017. Since 2018 they have mainly dedicated themselves to Pleasure rocks research, collaborating with the visual artist Alessia Bernardini. Together they have realized two artist publications, a photographic exhibition, a workshop and a performative installation which they are presenting, given the nature of the project, in very different cultural spaces and festivals.
Since 2022 they are associate artists of Nexus Factory.
